This amount is usually divided by the number of slots to give the maximum per slot.

Below are two examples, they may not apply to your particular model.

128GB Maximum with 4 Slots
Upgrade using 4 x 32GB modules

Example 2

32GB Maximum with 2 Slots
Upgrade using 2 x 16GB modules
Installed Memory: Non Upgradable
Important Notes:

This machine only has one memory slot, to upgrade you may need to remove the original memory and install the new memory in its place.

Sorry, there are no Memory upgrades available for this model.

The manufacturer may have installed the maximum RAM or the RAM slots may be inaccessible.
It is also possible that the supported RAM type is no longer available.
