Quality Control
Our pass rate for memory is over 99.5% of all modules sold. Modules are tested pre-dispatch and sent securely using Anti-static packaging.
Quality Control & Testing
Mr Memory ensures each new module is put through a rigorous testing process to ensure the reliability, integrity and compatibility of each one.
Each module is manufactured to be 100% compatible with the system or class of systems it is designed for.
Each new batch of memory we receive is subjected to a series of reviews and tests including:
- Specification Test
- Compatibility Test
- Software Benchtop Test
- Signal Quality and Integrity Test
- Reliability Test
- Guardband Test
- ATE Specification Test
- Production Testing
Mr Memory has always had an unwavering practice of ensuring 100% production testing of all memory supplied. This means testing every cell on every chip on every module. On a 128MB module that is 1,024 million cells.
Mr Memory ensures several different types of testers are used in the production testing process. These testers often utilize proprietary designed software and/or hardware. The proprietary production test software checks for speed, proper addressing and runs a variety of patterns to check for weaknesses in the memory chip itself. In addition, they can run custom patterns that screen modules for problems specific to certain chips, system boards or operating environments.
