The Apple Mac Pro Late 2019 - 3.5GHz 8-Core [Tower] uses DDR4 ECC Load Reduced and ECC Registered RDIMM memory.

How much memory can I install?
The Apple Mac Pro Late 2019 - 3.5GHz 8-Core [Tower] supports up to 768GB of memory across 12 memory slots.

Important Notes:

Mr Memory recommends you install 1 or 2 sets of 6 matched modules for 6-channel mode (to give ultimate speed performance overall).

We suggest taking out the basic 32GB (4 x 8GB). Then purchase 6 or 12 modules, to take advantage of 6-channel mode.

Basic configuration of 32GB (4 x 8GB) up to 192GB (6 x 32GB @ £3,000* from Apple) will use ECC Registered (RDIMM) Modules.
Configurations of 384GB (6 x 64GB @ £6,000* from Apple) up to 1.5TB (12 x 128GB @ £25,000* from Apple) will use ECC Load Reduced (LRDIMM) Modules.

IMPORTANT - A mix of RDIMMs and LRDIMMs will not work together.
