I'd recommend Mr Memory.

Prompt delivery and excellent packaging.
I replaced my old disk with a new SSD disk as suggested by MM, and cloned it as per instructions.
It was recommended to plug the new SSD directly into wherever it was to be used.
Initially, I plugged the new disk in to my laptop and connected the old one via USB in order to clone; this did not work.
I swapped them round and the cloning process worked fine. I had to reboot the laptop a couple of times to ensure all functions operated as expected, but all is well now.

A bit of a novice!

A bit of a novice where computer hardware goes, however, Mr Memory’s website was very helpful and directed me, via my PC model number, to the compatible parts I was looking for. I was happy to pay a slightly higher price for peace of mind, after having trawled several websites with very mixed results. Once ordered, the parts arrived as promised along with a number of emails offering help and support if needed. Upgrade went like a breeze and the performance improvements have been like night and day! Cannot recommend highly enough.
