What type of storage is compatible?
The Lenovo IdeaPad S145-14IGM supports 2.5" SATA, M.2 2242 NVMe PCIe, and M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe SSDs.

Important Notes:

2.5" drive bays are on selected models only - Please open up your device and check this before ordering.

If your 2.5" drive-bay is currently empty or occupied by a different type of drive (e.g. eMMC) and you wish to add a 2.5" SSD, you may need to purchase a special SATA cable and/or bracket from the computer manufacturer.

If this is your first time upgrading a Hard Drive or SSD, please read our SSD Installation Guides in advance so that you are comfortable with the process before completing your purchase. Please note that all SSDs are supplied blank, to replace your current HDD or SSD you will need to either clone data across from your current drive or install a fresh operating system.
