What type of storage is compatible?
The Apple Mac Pro Late 2019 - 2.5GHz 28-Core [Tower] supports 2.5" SATA and Apple Custom SSDs.

Important Notes:

To install a 2.5" SSD in your Mac Pro (2019 onwards) you will require an internal storage enclosure (not supplied with the Mac Pro). If your internal enclosure is designed for 3.5" drives (such as the Promise Pegasus J2i) you will also require a 2.5" to 3.5" Drive Caddy. Contact us for more information.

If this is your first time upgrading a Hard Drive or SSD, please read our SSD Installation Guides in advance so that you are comfortable with the process before completing your purchase. Please note that all SSDs are supplied blank, to replace your current HDD or SSD you will need to either clone data across from your current drive or install a fresh operating system.

Product Specifications

Kingston's DC600M SSD is a fourth-generation data center SATA 3.0, 6Gbps SSD with 3D TLC NAND intended for “mixed use” workloads. The DC600M is suited for use in high-volume rack-mount servers and includes hardware-based on-board PLP. Via power loss capacitors, DC600M protects data against unexpected power failure to reduce the possibility of data loss and ensure that the drive will successfully re-initialise on the next power-up of the system. DC600M is designed to deliver latency and IOPS consistency for system integrators, hyperscale data centers and cloud service providers.
