What type of storage is compatible?
The Acer TravelMate Notebook X3310-M supports 2.5" SATA, M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe, and M.2 2280 SATA SSDs.

Important Notes:

This model is manufactured with either a 2.5" drive bay or an M.2 slot, a new SSD must match the existing form factor/interface (2.5" or M.2).

If your 2.5" drive-bay is currently empty or occupied by a different type of drive (e.g. eMMC) and you wish to add a 2.5" SSD, you may need to purchase a special SATA cable and/or bracket from the computer manufacturer.

If this is your first time upgrading a Hard Drive or SSD, please read our SSD Installation Guides in advance so that you are comfortable with the process before completing your purchase. Please note that all SSDs are supplied blank, to replace your current HDD or SSD you will need to either clone data across from your current drive or install a fresh operating system.
