I don't use Mr Memory frequently but have bought from them for many years when upgrading my (and extended friends and family's) various computers or replacing hard drives. I have never had cause to contact them outside of the normal process because a) everything has always been spot on and b) I haven't been a numpty before and ordered the wrong thing! So the most recent transaction with them has been a wholly enjoyable experience and totally different from any other contact I have had with any other company.
I ordered PC memory, when I should have ordered laptop memory -totally my fault! - and upon completing the returns details (which is all free post by the way!) I received an email from a wonderful person named Zoe, who happens to be Head of Operations, within 30 minutes giving me a return reference and asking what I wanted to exchange it for (the return request was for replacement not refund).
I replied with my brain fart issue and stated the laptop memory needed.
I received a very fast reply stating the laptop memory will not be in stock until the following Monday.
I then - being the awkward customer I am - asked if it could be posted to a different address as I was on a bit of a time crunch. Zoe replied saying it wouldn't be a problem. I then asked how I could pay the (very small amount) difference..... and she replied saying that they wouldn't charge any more than I had already paid!
If anyone out there doesn't agree about the absolute first class customer focus and service after hearing all my issues and stupidity that Zoe dealt with....
I have no words!

A few weeks ago I purchased two 8GB RAM cards for my Acer aspire computer. It took about 15 minutes put into the appropriate slots. Made hell of a difference. Highly Recommended. Update I have now purchased a 256Gb memory stick for £30. Super price for a large capacity memory stick

Brought 2 8gb modules for my pc which then developed running problems such as bootup and slowing it down . Sent pc for diagnosis/repair
said one of the modules was faulty, paid £55 for repair!
Asked mr memory for a refund for the faulty module but sent me a replacement which I didn’t want.
I would not recommend this company.

I ordered some RAM memory for two laptops on Sunday night and by late afternoon on the Tuesday I was fitting them! Incredibly fast delivery. My first laptop now has a new lease of life! However, I had ordered the wrong memory for the second laptop, entirely my fault, I should have asked for their advice first. Without hesitation the problem was resolved by Zoe, who got back to me straight away with the solution. Good customer service is hard to find these days, exceptional customer service like this is even rarer. If its computer upgrading you are planning look no further than Mr Memory. And take my advice and drop them a note first, you'll be delighted with the results.

Other sources are available, probably cheaper but if you want product reliability, best delivery and customer service,why go elsewhere?
The only fly in the ointment is, the Royal Mail, who will charge top dollar, for pathetic service.
